SERVICES FOR N A B L ACCREDITATION: |
| We
offer consultancy services for N A B L Accreditation to
small and medium CLINICAL / MEDICAL LABORATORIES. N A B
L is a body under Ministry of Science and Technology, Government
of India. It's criteria are based on ISO 15189 / IEC GUIDE
25 & EN 45001 requirements for testing laboratories.
N A B L has linkages with I L A C (International Lab. Accreditation
Conference) and A P L A C (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation
Conference). |
We
have divided the process into five different steps, for
guiding laboratories in achieving the same. The steps are
as follows:
|
1)
Getting to know the laboratory, its functioning, its staff,
equipment, organization and other relevant factors and preparing
a report indicating major requirements
for accreditation.
2) Preparation of ‘Quality
Manual’.
3) Internal Audit.
4) Preparation for Pre-Assessment.
5) Preparation for Final-Assessment. |
Since
it is a long process, it is necessary to proceed fast for
the fulfillment of the objective. This can only be done
if adequate support is given to us by the laboratory management
and staff in achieving the required standards. The future
belongs to accredited laboratories. There are very few clinical
laboratories in India, which have succeeded in achieving
accreditation. The above process can be discontinued by
the laboratory, if they feel dissatisfied with our services
at any of the above stages by giving a prior notice. We
on our part also reserve the right to discontinue the consultancy
if the cooperation from the laboratory is inadequate. |
Our
role in this entire process will be purely of guiding the
laboratory in fulfilling requirements in all the above stages,
in sequence. The final accreditation of the laboratory depends
upon its performance during assessment and its fulfilling
the entire required criterion. There is no way we can guarantee
successful accreditation. All the relevant paperwork, writing,
printing and maintaining the records etc. will be the responsibility
of the laboratory or the "quality manager "appointed
by the laboratory. Please note that we are a private
organization offering guidance in achieving accreditation
under N A B L requirements, we have nothing to do directly
or indirectly with N A B L as a body and are not representing
N A B L or any Government / quasi government agency.
