There are many laboratories which offer this facility but there are certain questions which one must keep in mind while selecting the Laboratory, like:
- Where is the laboratory located and time it is going to take to transport the collected blood samples. It should be remembered that Blood collected is still in the process of chemical reactions even outside the body. It is extremely essential for the collected blood samples to reach the Laboratory within an hour or maximum two, because the chemical reactions in the sample slowly and gradually affect the very parameters you are getting tested.
- If it is going to take longer time, then what is the temperature at which the samples are transported. As the temperature increases towards the body temperature, the chemical reactions become faster.
